22nd Annual FCN Oyster Roast and Low Country Boil - Sunday, March 14 --

The Big Event  --  Celebrate with us at Skidaway Island State Park, March 14th from 11-4pm for the 22nd First City Network Oyster Roast and Low Country Boil.  

 We will be serving ~  Oysters, Low Country Boil (a hit last year), Hot Dogs, Cole Slaw,
 Potato Salad, Homemade Desserts, Beer, Soft Drinks, Water and Children‘s Juice Boxes.

Three Golden Oyster Awards will be given this year.  We will be recognizing an individual, a business, and a non-profit for their significant contributions to the Savannah LGBTQ community.  Winners will be announced in the next newsletter.
 
New this year is a “50/50 raffle  with cash prizes”!  Ticket prices will be $3 donation per ticket or $10 donation for 4 tickets).  50% of the collected funds will be divided as prize money to the lucky winning ticket holders and 50% donated to FCN.   Tickets will be available at 1st Saturday Socials, now until the Oyster Roast and through-out the day at the Oyster Roast event.    Enjoy Bingo ($1 donation/ticket),  Park ranger nature walk and talk, horseshoes, dancing, music and more.

For the Wee Ones (Children) ~ Big Bounce House, Park Ranger Scavenger Hunt, Bubbles, Coloring Books/Crayons and Basketball. Let’s not forget the Children’s Leprechaun Contest ~ dress your child in St. Patrick’s Day fashion for a chance to win a prize!

Sponsorships are essential to our success ~
Three levels of sponsorship are available: 

Shamrock $50 donation, includes one ticket to Candi’s Kickoff or
the Oyster Roast

Rainbow $100 donation includes one ticket to Candi’s Kick-Off
and Oyster Roast

Emerald $250 donation includes two tickets to both events

All sponsors will be recognized in the newsletter (before and after event), at the Kick-Off and the Oyster Roast.  

Calling all volunteers ~ 

We are asking for five minutes of your time Singers, Musicians, Dancers, Comedians, Magicians, impersonators ~  wee ones wishing to share their talent ~ are all welcome. 

Show your community support and pride by volunteering one hour at the event: needed oyster cookers, hot dog cookers, cooks, beer servers, and bingo callers.

Every car attending the event will be charged $5.00 for parking fees.  Please car pool (good for the environment) and benefits FCN (parking fees are paid out of event proceeds).  You can also help defray parking cost by donating at door.
